ABOUT SANDBANKS JEWELLERY
Welcome to Sandbanks Jewellery.
My name is Sophie and I create unique handmade silver and sea glass jewellery, which is inspired by the sea and shore.
I am at my happiest when I can feel the energy of the sea. I really love the shine you get from the sunlight going through the water. I have always loved swimming and water sports are second nature.

My designs are based around this and ideas start life at my local beach of Sandbanks while walking my dog on the shoreline or swimming in the big blue.

ZERO WASTE
I aim to be as environmentally conscious as I can and use all of my materials so there is zero waste.
SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING
We are plastic free and your items will arrive wrapped in 80% recycled tissue paper. Our gift boxes are also 80% recycled card and easy to compost.
You can opt out of all packaging just let me know on your order.
FROM THE SEA TO YOU
Some items are completely upcycled. Sea glass is perfect for making into jewellery - every piece a unique gift from the sea.
SHORELINE CLEANS
A shoreline clean with every purchase
The coast and sea is at the heart of everything I do. My local beach, Sandbanks in Poole, is very special to me and provides a rich source of joy and inspiration.
By way of giving back, I carry out a 10 minute shoreline clean for every purchase that is made where I pick up the little tiny pieces of plastic that wash up in the shore.
THE 'SEA' HALLMARK
I am a registered jewellery with the London Assay office at Goldsmiths Hall. My hallmark represents one of my passions the ‘Sea’.
All silver over 7.6g by law has to be hallmarked.
If you have a bespoke order I can have the size of the hallmark increased on request to empasise the word SEA i.e for a plain ring or bangle. This is quite a nice option for a gift for a water lover.
